Howard & the Perfect Hug was a project very near and dear to my heart.  I created this book for my nephew, who had a stuffed elephant that he took everywhere with him - to bed, out to eat, and even in the bath.

So, I created a book about his elephant and the search for a perfect hug.  I wrote, illustrated, and self published this book.  So far, we’ve sold over 100 copies and I’m in the process of raising money to send books to my former students in Thailand!
